The EntreVET project recently held its 3rd Transnational Project Meeting on April 13th and 14th, 2023, organized by CEA-PME. The project aims to foster the entrepreneurial spirit among Vocational Education and Training (VET) students to enhance their integration into the labor market.
During the meeting, project partners discussed finalizing the EntreVET Assessment Tool, designed to evaluate entrepreneurial practices within VET institutions. Additionally, an embedded Certification Scheme was developed to recognize and validate students’ entrepreneurial competencies.
At the core of EntreVET lies the belief that empowering VET staff and teachers with essential entrepreneurial skills will have a cascading effect on students. By equipping educators with the knowledge and expertise to foster entrepreneurial mindsets, they can effectively instill these qualities in their students. This, in turn, will inspire VET students to embrace innovation, creativity, and problem-solving, essential attributes for successful entrepreneurs.
EntreVET warmly welcomes VET institutions, educators, and stakeholders to join the entrepreneurship movement. By actively participating in the project’s initiatives, VET institutions can play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their students and the broader community. An entrepreneurship-friendly environment not only benefits the students but also contributes to the socio-economic development of regions and countries. The journey towards empowering VET students with the necessary competencies to succeed in the labor market is ongoing. EntreVET continues to extend an open invitation to institutions and individuals to join their cause in creating a more prosperous and innovative future for all.
