On the frame of the European project “EntreVET: Upskill the VET institutions by training the entrepreneurship office’s staff and VET”, AKMI SA hosted the Multiplier Event on two different dates in Greece: on February 28, 2023 and October 31, 2023.
On the 28th of February 2023, the ME was held on the premises of Metropolitan College, where 9 participants attended, who consisted of VET trainers and VET staff.
A total of 16 participants attended the ME on 31/10/2023 comprising of VET staff, trainers and students.
The target of the two Multiplier Events was to present and disseminate the project progress and results to relevant beneficiaries and stakeholders and we achieved it.
With a total of 25 enthusiastic participants, the events offered a comprehensive exploration of the project’s goals, outcomes, and collaborative efforts. The scope, agenda and structure of the two ME was almost the same on both dates:
After the welcome of the participants the partnership was presented, highlighting the expertise of each organization. A concise summary of the EntreVET project was presented, providing participants with a clear understanding of its mission and objectives; to foster the entrepreneurial spirit among VET students, so as to improve their integration in the labor market. This will be achieved by Upskilling VET staff and teachers on key entrepreneurial skills and competences and by improving and updating the operations, procedures and practices of VET institutions, in terms of entrepreneurship, based on the Model Institution, to be developed in EntreVET.
Participants gained insights into the anticipated outcomes of EntreVET, exploring the positive impact it aims to make on vocational education. A comprehensive overview of the various activities within the EntreVET project was presented, showcasing the dynamic approach taken to achieve its goals. A detailed presentation of the EntreVET website was also presented as well as the learning platform where VET trainers, VET staff can enroll for free and attend the available modules.
The events concluded with an interactive session, providing participants with the opportunity to seek clarification, share insights, and offer final observations.
The events served as a pivotal platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration. The dual-part structure, held on February 28, 2023, and October 31, 2023, allowed for a comprehensive exploration of the project’s facets, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose among the 25 participants. As EntreVET continues its mission to shape the future of vocational training and entrepreneurship, the Multiplier Event stands as a testament to the project’s commitment to excellence and innovation.
