As part of the first Project Result of our project, the EntreVET partnership developed a cohesive Assessment Tool targeting the entrepreneurial capacities of VET institutions. The purpose of this tool was two-fold. On the one hand, it is comprised by an assessment methodology to evaluate the existence and extent of entrepreneurial capacities of an institution. This capacity includes the presence of trained and skilled personnel, as well as relevant infrastructure to support learners who wish to engage in entrepreneurial initiatives. On the other hand, the tool is used to assess the capacity of VET institutions to foster the entrepreneurial spirit through their practices.
The Assessment tool is supported by a certification scheme, which will be used to deliver Labels of Entrepreneurship to those institutions who successfully complete the tests of the Assessment Tool. The Tool will be uploaded on the educational platform that will be created in the next months of the project implementation.
